somebody on twitter worked it out last night that the three accounts cost the gov about a grand each. They tweet to about 9000 followers, who then retweet it to their followers. this works out at a few pence a message to a person, as opposed to a stamp, envelope, paper, ink and time. I would think it is a very cost effective way of communicating information and getting feedback. I wish I could find the relevant post but it has dropped off my timeline and I am not very good at sums... I am sure someone with a better brain than the telegraph could do the math.
Its just showing the power of twitter, rational analysis and criticism of sloppy journos.

Look at you getting all 21st century man ;)

I would definitely recommend the videocasts from the Onion. They're usually around 3 minutes each and perfect as an in between podcasts moment on the commute.

Good question. I only know what's in this story, to be honest.

I actually thought frameworks/rosters couldn't be changed after they were set-up, without dissolving them and starting essentially anew; if so then you wouldn't be able to add new suppliers or new categories without a new roster.

I'm intrigued. Does this mean closing existing rosters to new suppliers or does it mean not adding new categories of rosters?

Wow! Hiya Naz, how lovely to see you and hear from you again after so long! How the devil are you?!

And how are you seeing S2 already? Bittorrenting again? I'm just making do with standard cable so it'll be a while before I get to see Eric 'flourish'. I do agree with you that Bill is the weakest and wettest part of the show but I guess I'm just not the target demographic for that strand. Sookie's quite delightful tho'.

Nope, not seen "It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia" or "Leverage", don't even remember them being on in the UK - but so many TV shows, so little time these days ...

True Blood is good (although Eric in season 2 is more entertaining than the Sucky/Bill melodrama) but I don't know if it's the 'most deliciously laugh-out-loud black comedy-drama' ever. Have you seen It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia? Or even Leverage?

I'll let you have 'the most deliciously laugh-out-loud black comedy-drama with fangs' though...

Hi Andrew,

I might drop the Cabinet Office a line and see what they think. There's something that could be done there, I'm sure.

Glad the Twitter feeds are useful. I spoke to someone at NDS the other day and I think they might take them over at some point, which would be terrific. I'd love to see them on the NDS website :)

xD.
